U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), has expressed support for the release of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Strategy Report, an initiative led by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The report centers on addressing health challenges faced by American children.
“For years, families, teachers, and doctors have been sounding the alarm that American children are getting sicker, faster. Finally, we have an administration that is willing to battle the chronic disease epidemic that’s besetting our children and understand the root causes,” said Senator Marshall. “Today’s MAHA report is not drastic – it’s common sense and sets our children up for the healthy future they deserve.”
Senator Marshall serves as the founding member and Chairman of the MAHA Caucus. He has advocated for policies focusing on holistic health approaches such as treating food as medicine, improving soil health, and considering alternatives beyond pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines to address underlying causes of chronic health issues in the United States.
