Kansas Department of Transportation honors employees' long-term service

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has announced its recognition of employees who are marking significant service anniversaries in September. This acknowledgment is part of KDOT's effort to honor the commitment and dedication these individuals have shown to the state.

Employees celebrating 25 years with KDOT include Kenneth Franklin, an Equipment Operator Specialist from Walnut. Marking 20 years of service are Daniel Acridge, Highway Maintenance Superintendent from Wichita; Chad Boyle, Equipment Operator Senior from Phillipsburg; Rebecca Brownlee, Administrative Specialist from Syracuse; Sky Sexton, Engineering Technician Supervisor from Lawrence; Darrin Shepard, Engineering Technician Senior from Spring Hill; Ryan Wallace, Equipment Operator Specialist from Wichita; and Rosemond Wenke, Engineering Technician from Mulvane.

Additionally, those reaching a decade of service include Lisa Cronkhite, an Engineering Technician Supervisor based in Mayetta; Jeffry Ebers, Equipment Operator Senior in Shawnee; and Alan Longshaw, an Engineering Technician in El Dorado.

"KDOT is proud to acknowledge them for the long-term dedication they have provided to the state of Kansas," a spokesperson said. The department continues to appreciate the hard work and loyalty demonstrated by its staff members across various roles and locations.
