The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has announced its appreciation for employees marking state service anniversaries in August. The department recognizes these individuals for their dedication to the state of Kansas.
Employees celebrating 45 years include David Dye, an Equipment Operator Specialist from Meade. Kevin Walters, also an Equipment Operator Specialist, marks 40 years and is based in Manhattan.
Several employees are celebrating 30 years with KDOT: Rick Barezinsky, Assistant Bureau Chief of Materials from Scranton; Shawn Denny, Highway Maintenance Superintendent from Garnett; and Jeff Stewart, District Three Engineer from Norton.
Those reaching the 25-year milestone are Chris Bortz, Assistant Bureau Chief from Topeka; Kerry Bramhall, Engineering Technician Senior from Vermillion; Kelly Cook, Equipment Operator Specialist from Peabody; Klete Hackney, Maintenance Supervisor from Coldwater; and Thomas Valadez, Engineering Technician Senior from Andover.
Celebrating 20 years are Jeffrey Bagley, Equipment Operator Specialist from Hill City; Brett Carlson, Equipment Operator Specialist from Bison; Patrick Foster, Engineering Technician Senior from Kansas City; Michael Freeland, Engineering Technician Senior from Lawrence; Eric Lentz, Equipment Operator from Oskaloosa; Pamela Murray-Anderson, Senior Director of Administration from Topeka; Jason Nichols, Highway Maintenance Supervisor from Eureka; Jon Sherwood, Operator Senior from Leroy; and Debbie Tanking, Road Design Bureau Chief also based in Topeka.
Finally, those commemorating 15 years include Robert Jones III, Highway Maintenance Supervisor from Newton and Bruce Larsen, Equipment Operator Senior from Lincoln.
