The Kansas Department of Transportation has initiated a project to replace signage on several highways in Gray, Ford, Finney, and Meade counties. The work involves U.S. 50, U.S. 400, U.S. 56, and K-23.
According to the department, motorists should expect minimal traffic disruptions in the area as the highways will remain open to regular traffic throughout the project.
Signs Up LTD DBA Haren’s Trees and Critters from Webster City, Iowa is handling the $199,689 contract. The project is scheduled for completion by November, weather permitting.
