EDA awards $299,772 in grants for economic development projects in Kansas in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued two grants totaling $299,772 to fund economic development projects in Kansas.

This represents a 99.6% decrease from 2022, when the state received $67,831,834 in funding.

Kansas ranked 50th across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

Kansas State University received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $200,000.
