State Conservation Commission to Hold Meeting on March 17

The State Conservation Commission (SCC) will hold its regular meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the USDA Service Center, located at 3705 Miller Parkway A in Manhattan, Kansas. A virtual option will also be available for those unable to attend in person.

The SCC is comprised of five elected commissioners, along with appointed representatives from the Kansas State University Agriculture Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension Service, the Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service. The KDA Division of Conservation works closely with the SCC to develop and implement policies aimed at protecting and enhancing Kansas’ natural resources.

Individuals requiring special accommodations must submit their requests at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
