TOPEKA – On May 4, 2023, Governor Kelly announced two appointments and three reappointments to the following state boards and councils.
Kansas State Library BoardPurpose: Advocate for statewide library services and resources, encouraging cooperation among libraries and promoting and encouraging innovative library services.
- Bonnie Limbird, Prairie Village
Purpose: To develop a State Plan through external input, which ensures independent living for Kansans; advocate for the accomplishment of the State Plan objectives; monitor, review, and evaluate the implementation of the plan; and be a statewide catalyst for independent living.
- Heather Center, Topeka
Purpose: License and register entities conducting business relating to the practice of pharmacy; protect public health and welfare against unprofessional, improper and unauthorized practice of pharmacy.
- Terica Gatewood, Topeka (reappointment)
- Tiffany Strohmeyer, Topeka (reappointment)
Purpose: To promote and showcase Kansas agriculture, industry and culture, to create opportunity for commercial activity, and to provide an educational and entertaining experience that is the pride of all Kansans.
