Men's Basketball Flies Past Spurgeon

The Kansas Christian men's basketball team returned to action in Cowen Memorial Auditorium on Thursday night with a matchup against Spurgeon College. The Falcons earned a convincing victory by a final score of 100-76. The win improves Kansas Christian to 7-3 on the season and they currently rank #7 in the NCCAA Division II Men's Basketball Rankings. 

The Falcons ran out to a 14-2 victory in the opening minutes of the game and never looked back. Spurgeon would get back within nine points early in the second half before the Falcons took complete control on their way to the 24 point win. 

Seven different players scored in double figures for Kansas Chrsitian. Jahlani Blair scored a team high 23 points. Boog Lewis had 17 points and eight assists. Jamal Clark scored 12 points to go with six assists and five rebounds. Jay Washington added 13 points and Elazar Conley finished with 11 points. Noah Brooks netted 10 points and had a team high nine rebounds. 

The Falcons host Dallas Christian College on Saturday at 3pm in their next contest.
