U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas) continued his 100-stop tour last week with several visits in Reno County. The senator attended the Reno County Farm Bureau annual meeting, where he discussed ongoing efforts by Congress and President Trump to support Kansas farmers and ranchers.
During his visit, Senator Marshall also hosted a roundtable with members of the Kansas Hospital Association. The discussion focused on the $50 billion rural healthcare fund and legislative work aimed at supporting rural hospitals.
Marshall toured Grasshopper Mower in Moundridge, a family-owned business known for its exporting achievements. Grasshopper mowers are used on the White House lawn and have been recognized by President Trump.
Additionally, Senator Marshall visited Hutchinson Community College with President Dr. Tricia Paramore. The college is expanding partnerships and programs to address local workforce needs and provide students with opportunities to gain skills and certifications for their careers.
