U.S. Senator Roger Marshall visited several community organizations and businesses in Topeka this week, meeting with local leaders to observe their ongoing work.

He then met with Molly Howey, the new CEO of Go Topeka, at the Topeka Airport Authority. Their discussion focused on development opportunities for the regional airport and advancing aviation in the state.

During a stop at Washburn Rural North Middle School, Marshall toured the building and spoke with staff about preparations for students returning to school this month.

At the Topeka Breastfeeding Conference, Marshall addressed attendees regarding his experience as an OBGYN for 25 years. He also discussed his efforts to support rural hospitals and community health centers. "Senator Marshall spoke at the Topeka Breastfeeding Conference, sharing his expertise on quality maternity care as an OBGYN for 25 years and how he is advocating for strong rural hospitals and community health centers."

The senator concluded his tour at Diaper Depot, a program under the Community Action Organization that assists families with diaper expenses.
