Census Bureau: More women than men in Kansas in 2019

Of the 2,910,652 people living in Kansas in 2019, 50.2 percent (1,459,955) were women and 49.8 percent (1,450,697) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Sunflower State News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 21,673. In the 65 and over age range, there were 248,531 females and 200,796 males.
