A Kansas resident has been sentenced to 30 years in prison on charges related to child sexual abuse materials. Chloe Wade Gullotto, aged 25 from Leavenworth, admitted guilt to one count of production and one count of receipt of child pornography.
Court documents reveal that between September and November 2023, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received multiple CyberTips concerning images and videos linked to a cloud account owned by Gullotto. During an FBI interview, Gullotto confessed to using a cellphone for downloading and creating such materials.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation led the investigation into this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Audrey McCormick was responsible for prosecuting the case.
This prosecution falls under Project Safe Childhood, an initiative started in May 2006 by the Department of Justice aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. The project coordinates resources from federal, state, and local levels to apprehend offenders who exploit children online and rescue victims.
