Box Score Neosho County Mens’s Soccer hosted Jefferson College at home on Sunday, 8/28/2022

During the first half Neosho had a lot of the ball and didn’t concede many chances while Jefferson was organized at the back and Neosho had trouble breaking them down. With five minutes to go in the half, Neosho was able to break the deadlock after some good work down the right hand side by Elliot George who was able to find Ryo Aihara who found the back of the net from close range. Sending the Panthers to the locker room at the break up 1-0.

Jefferson College started the second half well, Neosho found themselves dropping deeper and deeper. Jefferson scored 2 goals which were much deserved and found themselves in the lead. Neosho had a few chances late on but fell short on a couple of solid goal scoring atempts as time was winding down.

Neosho will now look to bounce back against St Charles Community College at home this coming Sunday, September 4th, at 2.30pm.
