Garden City Community College received a $10,000 donation from Equity Bank in the form of a tax credit on August 31, 2022. GCCC is selling Kansas Department of Revenue tax credits to be used for the ongoing STEM Success Center project, a 10,000 square feet addition to the Warren Fouse Science and Math building for learning space dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
This donation is the first step in a partnership between GCCC and Equity Bank, with Equity Bank also supporting the Broncbuster Athletic Association. In addition, Equity Bank will be sponsoring the GC Chamber Business After Hours tailgate before GCCC’s home football game on Saturday, October 8th.
Garden City Community College looks forward to continuing the partnership with Equity Bank and is grateful for the community support.
