Garden City Community College Sees 2% Increase in Credit Hours for Fall 2022

Garden City Community College reports a 2% increase in credit hours for the Fall 2022 semester compared to the previous fall semester.  GCCC saw 1,973 students enrolled in 21,707 credit hours.

Additionally, 78.7% of students enrolled at GCCC were from Kansas.  Within this, 54% came from Finney County, which is a strong reason why GCCC offers a special lower-cost tuition structure for Finney County residents to support local students.

“GCCC is a Community College and that is an aspect we don’t take lightly.  This community is a strong supporter of GCCC which is why we implemented a special Finney County rate two years ago to incentivize and benefit Finney County residents, while keeping higher education accessible and affordable for all students,” said Dr. Ryan Ruda, GCCC President.  “The growth and stability of GCCC is a credit due directly to our talented and committed faculty and staff.”

In addition to Kansas students, GCCC is represented by students from 42 other states and 28 international countries.
