The Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office will host a Child Passenger Safety media event on Monday, September 22, at 10 a.m. The event aims to emphasize the importance of protecting young passengers and will be held at the Topeka Zoo’s Ross Family Pavilion.

The Kansas Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Safety oversees the program, which involves various state agencies and organizations dedicated to transportation safety. Attendees are advised to park near the south entrance gate and notify admission staff about their participation in the media event.

Scheduled speakers include Tenille Kimberlin from the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office, Gayle Donaldson from the Kansas Department of Transportation, Cyndii Callaway also from the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office, Cherie Sage from Safe Kids Kansas, Tiffany Baylark from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Lori Borgan from the Kansas Motor Carriers Association, and Danie Lee from DCCCA.
