Restoration PAC recently released a new ad highlighting the Kansas ballot initiative “Value Them Both” – a pro-life amendment for the state which would return the ability to make policies on abortion back to the legislature. A recent July survey indicated nearly 50% of voters plan to vote for the amendment.

Restoration PAC, a non-partisan political action committee that engages in elections, provides support to conservative candidates, and opposes left-leaning ones, recently released a new ad promoting a Kansas ballot initiative called “Value Them Both.”

A survey conducted by co/efficient asked 1,557 Kansas voters for their thoughts on abortion and specifically, whether they planned to support the Value Them Both Amendment, according to Christian Post. Based on responses collected from July 17-18, 47% of likely primary election voters said they plan to vote in favor of the Value Them Both Amendment, while 43% said they intended to vote against it. The remaining 10% were undecided.

The Value Them Both Amendment concerns the regulation of abortion, without fully banning it. The constitution of the state of Kansas does not require government funding of abortion and does not create or secure a right to abortion.

If passed, the Value Them Both Amendment would clarify that there is no right to abortion or taxpayer-funded abortion in the Kansas State Constitution and restore the right to enact laws regarding abortion to Kansans and lawmakers, according to the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America organization.

“The Value Them Both Amendment restores the rights of Kansans to pass laws that protect women and children, especially from brutally painful late-term abortions,” Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America spokeswoman Mallory Carroll said in a statement.
