34th Annual Hispanic Student Day Set for April 5th

The GCCC Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO) will host the 34th Annual Hispanic Student Day on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex at GCCC.

Hispanic Student Day is a unique and special opportunity to empower and encourage students to continue their education and make decisions that increase their educational opportunities and thus achieve a better future. This conference will teach high school students about college through sessions on College 101, Paying for College, Academic & Support Resources, Mock College Class, Information Fair, and Key Note Speakers. Complimentary lunch will be served for all students and student sponsors in attendance.

Online registration is free for students in grades 9-12 and is due by March 24. All high school seniors who attend will be entered into a drawing for three $500 scholarships to GCCC!

Interested students should check with their high school for sponsors or contact halo@gcccks.edu with any questions.
